Pride in Hull is a registered charity, run entirely by volunteers on a not for profit basis. We make Pride in Hull happen because we love it and we’ve seen first-hand the effects it has on individual people’s lives and on the community as a whole. The remit of our event is simple. We’re here to celebrate the LGBT+ community with our friends and allies. We’re here to celebrate diverse sexualities and genders. We’re here to uplift communities. We’re here to tell people that they do fit in here. In 2017 we were named the inaugural UK Pride and in 2018 50,000 people (that’s a fifth of the population of the entire city!) put on their dancing shoes and partied with us over the course of the day. 2019 promises to be the brightest and boldest Pride in Hull yet. We can’t wait to tell you more.
