In 2018 her song “That’s Fine” was played on BBC Introducing. Currently working on her first EP.

"WeirdWolf"

WeirdWolf are a rock band, too heavy to be classified as Indie and too melodic to be classified as Metal. Think the riffs or Queens Of The Stone Age and Soundgarden combined with the trippy soundscapes of Dead Meadow and Sonic Youth and you’re getting close.

High points to date have been supporting A and Crippled Black Phoenix along with a live sesh on BBC introducing which lead one unsuspecting passer-by to exclaim “I thought Black Sabbath were in the building!”

The band are currently prepping new material for a new album and a full-scale assault the live circuit and beyond.

"Edge

Edge of 13 are a guitar band from Bridlington who were originally formed in 2007 and returned in 2021 following a 6 year hiatus. Recently described as “True Brit Rock” Edge of 13 have returned with new material and have rewritten the back catalogue to bring you a punchy singalong set with post-punk tones. The band is fronted by Kris Mac, wth Johnny B on guitar, Scott Lapworth on bass and Joel Cash on drums. After searching for 15 years the band has finally found its sound with influences including R.E.M, The Fall and The Wedding Present.

"Silk

Silk Spinster are a Hard Rock/Metal band from Kingston Upon Hull. The band has set out to create hard hitting and energetic music inspired by that of the 1980’s. Silk Spinster takes inspiration from multiple musical genres such as Hard Rock, Punk, NWOBHM, Heavy Metal and more, creating a unique collection of songs each set apart from each other and gelled together through front-man, Kye Coulson’s, vocal performances. Silk Spinster has proven difficult to define as one genre, their aim is and has always been to create hard hitting, catchy and heavy anthems.

Notable Review

"Fauna"

Fauna is comprised of brothers Danny (Vocals and Guitar) and Adam (Guitar), Tom

(Drums) and Charlie (Bass). In the blur that was the end of 2020/start of 2021, when the

rest of the world stopped, the boys got busy – Completing their line up with a new bass

player, recording new music and even brewing their own beer. Fast forward to today

and the band are continuing to gain momentum after a string of live shows in 2021,

including a slot at Liverpool Sound City festival. Combining summery pop moments, old

school rock and roll percussion and soaring choruses, Fauna’s unique sound has gained

them attention from industry giants Radio X, BBC introducing and This Feeling. Fauna’s

on-stage energy is infectious, this is a band that need to be heard live and loud.

"The

Influences/FFO: Slowdive, Alvvays, Blossoms, DIIV, The Blinders, The Cribs

"Jodie

Jodie Langford is one of the most compelling voices in Hull’s burgeoning spoken word scene.

Influences:

Kae Tempest, Sleaford Mods, The Streets, Leonard Cohen, Scroobius Pip.

Jodie continues to collaborate with Hull’s ‘King Of Electro’ producer Endoflevelbaddie, who has complimented her delivery of socially aware spoken word with a mash-up of dance floor flavours ranging from electro rhythms to DnB beats.

Jodie’s first single I Miss It made an X-Posure Big One by John Kennedy on his flagship Radio X show and was commended by BBC Radio 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq for its honesty and pop sensibility.
